I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Philosophy, Durham University, working on a cluster of topics at the intersection of ethics, epistemology, and the philosophies of medicine, religion, and science.

Specific projects include scientism, epistemic virtues in the sciences, science and religion, the cognitive and moral value of illness, the nature of a religious life, and the later work of Paul Feyerabend.

I am a member of several research groups, including History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine (HPSM) and Applied Phenomenology and am a Member of the Centre for the Ethics of Cultural Heritage (CECH).
