About
Bio:
Malek started his PhD in Accounting and Finance at Durham Business School in 2008. Prior to this, he was an academic faculty member at the Department of Accounting in Yarmouk University (2005-08), where he taught, and was module leader for, several modules in financial accounting such as Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Analysis of Financial Statements and Management Accounting. He attended the European Business Program at Université de Provence - Aix-Marseille (2002) and completed a bachelor's degree (2003) mater degree in accounting at Yarmouk University (2005).
Malek holds Associateship with the Higher Education Academy. He is in Accounting and Finance teaching group and teaches in different undergraduate and postgraduate modules at Durham Business School such as Auditing and Accounting Information Systems, Business Economics and Accounting, Financial Statements Analysis and Corporate Reporting.

Elected the Best Doctoral Presentation Award. Durham Business School, 2010.
Won the Best Conference Paper Award.University of Economics, Prague, 2010.
